My brassicas are doing well apart from one Brussels sprout and one cabbage plant that’s been nibbled by a mouse/rat. The little sod found his way through my mesh and there i was thinking i had them well protected and feeling quite smug with myself.
I have been harvesting my broad beans Aquadulace for a couple of weeks now, this is the first time i have grown these and it will be the last. Horrible. Yuk. They definitely got the thumbs down at home. Has anyone got any recommendations for broad beans? are these the only ones you can plant in the autumn? My family were certainly not impressed with these…
I need to sort out my photos as my site was throwing a tantrum. I think i have it all sorted now and will post a list of what I’m growing soon. I lost a few posts also, along with the comments, sorry about that. That will teach me to jump in the deep end and publish my own site. I’m still learning. Albeit slowly!!!
