Pah! Bloody bindweed!
I cleared 13 barrows full of bindweed roots from the bank at the back of my plot and now spend my time digging out new bindweed shoots that pop up endlessly, garnering life from just the tiniest piece of root left in the ground. It's a BORE and a half!!!
Am off to plant some tomatoes today. Maybe a little early but I'll take my chances.....

I regret buying mine.I have two that i got cheap from the council - 6 quid each They really are a right pain to empty The little door at the bottom is bloody useless Im thinking of using mine for manure in future - should make emptying easier and making a compost box from pallets.

I moved house once because of bindweed - well not quite but I felt like it.
Now I think it is one of the challenges that life has for me and I take perverse pleasure in tracking down bindweed roots.
Hope you can clear it soon
Regards
