fruits of my labour
I’m planning a mammoth session with this as my guide soon. I quite fancy trying my hand at making some fruit butter using quince and damsons; both i have growing at my lottie along with my plums.
* Great little book and worth every penny* - Not your glossy coffee table book but a practical step by step no frills, on preserving your fruit and veg; first published in 1929 by the British government.
The copy i have is the fourteenth edition published in 1989
Its certainly stood the test of time!
