not funny
My site was down again. After a lot of cursing i looked on their site to see whats up…. hmmm, clear as mud!
Ill leave you with a pic of my elephant garlic, which is more like normal sized garlic. I had a feeling i had planted these a bit late! I’m not sure if i will grow these again, ill decide when i have roasted one or two.
I’m not a huge lover of garlic. I had read that elephant garlic is not a true garlic and that it belongs to the leek family, its not so strong. Which was a deciding factor in growing them. Also, i think i pulled these up a bit early.
Normal garlic has never appealed to me as the amount we eat (maybe once every couple of months) has never warranted growing it. I just pick up a bulb while shopping…
Ill do a photo update soon. Fingers crossed, my site doesn’t go down again!

Very jealous of your elephant garlic - I bet that’ll be delicious slowly roasted until soft, which makes it quite ungarlicky tasting if you’re not a garlic fan. We planted some regular garlic (and are garlic lovers) only for it to disappear into oblivion!
