nothing much happening

Have been harvesting.. Brussels sprouts, cabbage, kale, calabrese and chard..

Planted a clematis at the side of my shed -next year it should ramble up and over it..

Bought a fig tree (brown turkey) that needs to be potted up into a larger container..

I’m planning on spending the next couple of months (Sundays) cutting down the bramble and god knows what else at the back of the plot; weather permitting. Then covering areas with whatever i can lay my hands on (carpet plastic cardboard) some of it will be left as a wild life area. The larger plum and damsons trees (two each) will be staying, the seedlings, around 5/6. of them, well.. their days are numbered. There’s no point in trying to clear the whole back plot with the amount of tree roots there. I keep telling myself, work with it girl, have some raised beds, a small pond ( a plastic bowl sunk into the ground) and some flowers. I may even go mad next winter when its cleared (optimistic as ever) and move my fruit bushes to the back..
