butternut squash
I have nine butternut squash on three plants. One plant has only one at the moment but there’s quite a few flowers on it. So, i have been tip toeing through the vines to see if i could spot any female flowers (they have the tiny fruits on them behind the flower) i couldn’t see any so i might try to pollinate by hand, ill leave it for a few days then check again…
They are growing well, along with my patty pans. Mind you, the patty pans are a bit slow, I brought home my first one today..
Any ideas on what to cook with one patty pan ? :0)

Any ideas on what to cook with one patty pan? I grow these, I know they look so fancy but really the best way to eat them is lightly steamed with your dinner, lovely!
